Distant stitch embroidery diploma corse-chapter one.
I decided I needed to review my drawing skills ,so I initially started following a you tube tutorial which is the result  top right. Then I drew my partner eye ,on the left and at the bottom an eye from a woman in a magazine.
My partner being my muse!

Ideas!!!
Here are some of the items I designed and made for part one: a waistcoat based on William morris designs and a bag based on the pattern made in a ploughed field.

So a little about me, I live in Herefordshire , work as a children's community nurse and have two children who are really adults now. I did my part one city and guilds 20years ago with jean mobbs-Webb , who was a very inspiring tutor. I miss college days and hence I have enrolled on the diploma course with distant stitch as I would like to develop my own style and miss designing.
I have chosen the body as my research theme and have attended life drawing classes in the past. However I would like to express the body through stitch.
